About Us
At Peterson Motors Co. we are a
locally-owned, independent truck and trailer
dealership located in heart of the upper
Midwest in Watertown, South Dakota. In
business since 1989, Peterson Motors Co. has
been serving the farming and trucking
industries with an ever growing inventory
and clientele base. Our customers come to us
from all over the globe, while the local
market of 300 miles in diameter is our
speciality, we also have customers in over
30 states and 7 countries.
Showcasing over 100 of the cleanest trucks and
trailers in the tri-state area, our inventory
ranges from conventional and daycabs trucks to
grain and service trucks, and trailers of all
varieties including new and used grain hoppers,
flats, steps, and van trailers. We hold
franchises for Merritt and Stoughton aluminum commodity
trailers, and Maurer trailers and well as ABU
trailers. We also sell Merritt Equipment Co. truck
accessories, Shur-lok roll tarps, and are a
stocking dealer of Hendrickson suspension
components.
We are the designer, manufacturer and
exclusive outlet of the revolutionary
“Quickveyor”. The state of
the art stainless steel conveyor system
built for the seed and fertilizer
industries. Designed to meet our customers
need of reliability, longevity and
flexibility, the Quickveyor
is now in it’s 8th year of production.
We take great pride in our trucks and the people
around us who sell, service, and appraise them.
With actual farmers and former over-the-road
truckers on our staff, we have an intimate
knowledge of the challenges our customers face.

equipment available and try hard to match them
with our customers’ unique situations. Combining
